  • 10 am – 6 pm: Pick up bib number @ Place du Trône

Sunday 3 November

  • 7.30 am – 9.30 am: Pick up bib number @ Place du Trône
  • 08:45 am: Persil Kids Run 1K – Start @ Place des Palais
  • 9:00 am: Brussels Airport Half Marathon – Start @ Place de Brouckère
  • 9:00 am: Brussels Airport 7K – Start @ Place des Palais
  • 09:45 am: Brussels Airport Marathon – Start @ Place de Brouckère

The finish for all distances is at the Place des Palais.

Participant packs will not be posted but can be collected on site at the registration area on Saturday or Sunday.

1 week before the event, individually registered participants will receive a confirmation email with their personalised number (when subscribed before 14.10.2024) or an e-ticket. With this personal number or e-ticket, participants can pick up their participant package at the pre-registration desk on Saturday (02.11.2024) or Sunday (03.11.2024).

The starter pack contains:

* Personalised race numbers are only available for participants registered online before 14 October 2024. There are no personalized numbers for the Persil Kids Run.

Drinks are served in reusable cups. Thanks to throw them in the indicated zones after the refreshment station.

Supplies Brussels Airport 7K:

  • No supplies provided on the course, only at the finish line

At the finish there is a quality final supply for each distance with water, sports drink (AA Drink isolemon) and a Fulfil bar. Toilets are also provided at each supply.

Delivery of personal drinks is not possible.

You can drop off your sports bag at the ‘bag drop area that opens at 7.30am on Sunday.

  1. Your participant pack contains a sticker with the same number as your bib number.
  2. Stick this sticker on your bag and drop it off at the Bag Drop Area.
  3. Report to the tent that matches your start number.
  4. You can pick up your bag ONLY upon presentation of your bib number.
  5. Make sure you have a (sports) bag you can close to put all your stuff in, loose items of clothing will not be accepted.
  6. Sports bags can be collected until 3:45pm.

Changing rooms for M/F are available for participants at the Place du Trône. There are no showers available.

The Brussels Airport Marathon & Half Marathon will also feature a Pacer Team with pacers for various speeds.

A bracelet is provided for each participant at the marathon and half marathon. It shows the split times you have to run to reach your desired finish time. A useful reminder during the race, that you simply wear around your wrist! These bands are free to pick up on Saturday or Sunday at the Place du Trône, near the registrations.

These pacers will be easily recognisable in their start boxes thanks to their coloured flags:

Brussels Airport Marathon

We would like you to start in the startbox of your anticipated finish time. The starting boxes will be: 2h59/3h15/3h30/3h45/3h59/4h15/4h30/4h45/5h00.

There will be no checks, thanks to the fair play of the marathon runners everyone can get off to a smooth start.

The entrance to the starting boxes is located RIGHT for the marathon runners. There is no access from the left side.

The start boxes open at 9:25 am, after the runners of the half marathon have left.

Brussels Airport Half Marathon

When registering you can specify your estimated end time. The 1000 fastest runners are awarded a low starting number to be in the first box.

We would like you to start in the startbox of your anticipated finish time. Behind the first box there will be the following starting boxes: 1h30/1h40/1h50/2h00/2h10/2h20/2h30

There will be no checks, thanks to the fair play of the half marathon runners everyone can get off to a smooth start.

The entrance to the starting boxes is located LEFT for the half marathon runners. No access is possible along the right side.

Brussel Airport 7K

Participants in the 7K start at 9 a.m. sharp, it is not possible to start after 9am.

In this race there will be no starting boxes. Everyone starts together. Everyone starts together.

Time limit Brussels Airport Marathon

The time limit for the Brussels Airport Marathon is 5:45 hours. By order of the police the roads will be opened for traffic based on this pace. Those who run more slowly will be asked to stop their race or continue running at their own risk, without the roads being cordoned off. The finish closes at 3:30 pm.

Time limit Brussels Airport Half Marathon

By police order, the course will be opened to traffic after the last runner and on a strict schedule. The starting signal will be given at 9 am. The finish line closes at 3:30 pm.

Time Limit Brussels Airport 7 K

The time limit for the Brussels Airport 7 K is 50 minutes. For the comfort of all participants, whoever runs slower will be eliminated from the race after the Cinquantenaire tunnel.

The time measurement for the Brussels Airport Marathon, Half Marathon & 7K is done by means of an electronic chip. This chip, attached to the back of your number, measures the net time between start and finish. This means that your time does not begin to run until you pass over the starting line. This extra service ensures more accurate timekeeping.

This chip is included in the entry fee and does not need to be recovered after the race.

Do you want to change the distance or name? This is possible until 14 October 23:59 via info@golazo.com. We would like to receive the following information from the substitute in case of a name change:

Afterwards, changes are only possible at the registration desk on 2 & 3 November.

Change of distance

  1. First take off you race number
  2. Change your distance at the stand ‘change of name/distance’ and get a new race number
  3. Changing to a lower distance is free of charge. For a higher distance, the difference in price will be charged.


Change of name

  1. Get the race number with the confirmation email from the person from whom you have taken over the starting number
  2. Have your details changed at the stand ‘change of name/distance’ and receive a new race number.
  3. Do not forget to bring your ID. For a change of name there is a € 5 administration cost.

Are you injured or can’t participate for a different reason?

While registering you have the option to purchase a cancellation insurance for just € 7. If cancelled before the end of the day August 31, 2024, 100% of the registration total will be refunded.

Any extras such as T-shirts, medal engraving and cancellation policy itself will not be refunded (non-exhaustive). ake note: if you already registered without a cancellation insurance, then it is no longer possible to buy the insurance afterwards.

Cancellation requests should be submitted via this contact form by August 31, 2024 at the latest.

From 1 September onwards it is no longer possible to request a reimbursement.

All participants can have their medal engraved with name and time immediately after the race. You could purchase this in advance through the registration form until Oct. 14.

If you did not tick this on your registration form, you can still decide this yourself on the spot and pay €12 for this, this as long as there are still available places.
