Brussels Airport Marathon & Half Marathon
On Sunday 2nd October, the 17th edition of the Brussels Airport Marathon & Half Marathon will follow a completely new course. The start underneath the Atomium and finish on the track of the King Baudouin Stadium mean the marathon gets a new iconic home base. In addition to the marathon, the programme for Sunday 2nd October also features the renewed Brussels Airport Half Marathon and some shorter distances.
The Brussels Airport Marathon & Half Marathon really resonate internationally. One third of all runners do not live in Belgium. Previous editions saw participants from no fewer than 105 countries appear at the start. The start from the Atomium, probably the best-known symbol of our country, has been chosen to highlight the international character of the Brussels Airport Marathon & Half Marathon even more.
